Our process

Six steps from first call to growth.

Fixed scope, no retainer traps, most projects live in 2–4 weeks — and you can see exactly what happens at every step.

The client journey

  1. Discovery

    Days 1–2

Understand your business, your customers, and the single outcome the website must move.

    What you get

    • Free 30-minute discovery call
    • Written summary of goals and constraints
    • Honest assessment of whether we're the right fit

    What we need from you

Come with your goal, not a spec. A real person reads your brief within hours — no commitment at this stage.

  2. Strategy

    Days 2–3

Turn the goal into a fixed scope: pages, integrations, the metric that defines success.

    What you get

    • Scope document within 48 hours of the call
    • Fixed price and timeline — never hourly
    • Sitemap and conversion-path outline

    What we need from you

Review and sign off before a line of code is written. Payment is 50% upfront, 50% on delivery.

  3. Design

    Days 4–8

Shape the visual language and page layouts directly in the browser, on the production stack.

    What you get

    • Design built on the real stack — no static mockups that lie
    • Typography, color, and component system from your brand
    • Up to two revision rounds before build-out

    What we need from you

You review real pages, not pictures of pages. Design and development overlap by design — this is not a waterfall.

  4. Development

    Days 8–21

Build every page, form, and integration in production, visible to you the entire time.

    What you get

    • Live preview URL from the first week
    • CRM-integrated forms with spam protection
    • SEO wiring: metadata, structured data, sitemap
    • One short async check-in per week

    What we need from you

Watch real progress on the preview URL. Decisions get one consolidated question list per week — no email chains.

  5. Launch

    Days 22–28

Ship on your domain with performance verified, and hand over everything.

    What you get

    • QA pass and Lighthouse 95+ performance audit — required to ship
    • CMS training for your team
    • Full handoff: code repo, credentials, analytics — you own it all

    What we need from you

Launch day is a transfer of ownership, not the start of a retainer. Everything runs under your accounts.

  6. Growth

    Ongoing

Keep the site fast, secure, and converting — at whatever level of involvement you want.

    What you get

    • 30-day support window included with every build — monthly plans are optional after that
    • Hosting, maintenance, and update plans at flat monthly rates
    • Performance and lead reporting you can act on

    What we need from you

Entirely optional — your site never requires an ongoing fee. Many clients run everything themselves after handoff.

How we stay on track.

Three rules that keep every project clean.

No scope creep

We agree on exactly what's being built before a line of code is written. Change requests outside the original scope are quoted separately — always.

Weekly check-ins

One short async update per week — what's shipped, what's next, any decisions needed. No email chains. No status-update meetings.

You own everything on launch day

Code repo, CMS credentials, Vercel project, domain, analytics — all transferred to you. We don't hold infrastructure hostage.

Process questions, answered.

How do you keep projects from going over budget?

Fixed-price scope documents. Before work starts, we agree on exactly what's included. Anything outside that scope is a separate quote. No open-ended billing.

How many revision rounds are included?

Two rounds of design revision before moving to build, and one round of content revisions post-build. Additional rounds are quoted at an hourly rate. Most projects never need more than two.

What does "build in production" mean?

We don't maintain a staging environment you never see until launch. You get a live preview URL from the first week — you watch real progress, not a demo. This catches misalignments early.

What's included in the 30-day support window?

Bug fixes, content updates, and minor copy changes within the existing scope. Not new features or major layout changes — those are scoped separately.

Do you work with clients outside the US?

Yes. All client communication is async-first via Notion and Loom, which works well across time zones. We've worked with teams across North America and Europe.

Ready to start with a discovery call?

Thirty minutes, no commitment — and a fixed-price scope document within 48 hours. Step one starts whenever you are.
